We first started the business working from home, and still do given the current situation, and soon found that a busy family life is not always conducive to creating a professional office environment. Separation is often a requirement to prevent interuptions to phone calls, especially video calls, and being able to focus on the work.
Or is space a problem?
Not all homes are large enough to cope with the sudden addition of an office and all the furniture, hardware, storage and ancillary equipment that is necessary. It may be that an extension, a loft conversion or a garden office is required. We have experience in designing and obtaining consents for all types of extensions and building works, including basements.
